Diet against gastritis

Diet for gastritis: what to eat and what not to eat?

Gastritis is one of the most common diseases of our time. Frequent snacks and meals, various fast food options, poisoning by poor quality food - all this can lead to gastritis. This is probably why many people now suffer from stomach problems. But how to deal with them?

To do this, it is not necessary to constantly take medication, the main treatment is a proper and properly chosen diet, which will not cause mucosal irritation and exacerbation of the disease, but at the same time saturate the body with all the necessary macronutrients and vitamins.

Basic rules

The main task of a gastritis diet is to follow a diet that ensures normal digestion. The gastritis treatment table (per day) should include:

  • 90-100 gr. squirrel (and 60% of animals),
  • 50-80 gr. fat (75% animals)
  • 300-320 gr. carbohydrates.

Diet rules in case of gastritis:

  1. Knowledge of mayor. With gastritis, the saying "you should feel a little hungry after a meal" is more relevant than ever. First, the feeling of satiety occurs only 10-15 minutes after eating, and secondly, a crowded stomach does not cope well with its functions, especially with gastritis.
  2. Diet. First, you need to observe the amount of food (at the same time). Second, food with gastritis should be partial, 4-5 times a day, but at the same time refrain from snacks (they provoke "excessive" secretion of gastric juice and reduce its production during breakfast / lunch / dinner, which violates food processing and assimilation processes). . You should categorically exclude reading while eating, watching TV and "running on the road".
  3. Relax after eating. You should rest for 15-20 minutes after each meal (no need to sleep). You can read a book or listen to music.
  4. Chewing food. Prolonged chewing of food (at least 25-30 seconds for each piece) promotes more thorough mechanical processing of food, which facilitates the work of a sick stomach. In addition, hunger in this case is satisfied faster (which prevents overeating). Abandonment of complicated dishes

The total energy value must be between 2200 and 2800 kcal.

High acidity diet

With this form of gastritis, it is recommended to use a diet aimed at thermal and mechanical protection of the stomach, as well as reduction of gastric secretion.

Allowed products:

  • stews, cheesecakes, dumplings, oven-baked cheesecakes;
  • milk, in particular with tea, fermented milk products of all kinds, including yoghurt and yoghurt, fresh curd puree;
  • fish, meat or chicken soups cooked in grain broth;
  • dry white crackers, vegetables and butter, milk soups with cereals or pasta;
  • steamed omelettes, eggs in a bag, vegetable dishes in the form of mashed potatoes, puddings, souffles, weak teas, sweet fruits and berries in jelly, creams and compotes;
  • veal, lean beef, chicken meatballs, pudding, zrazas, steam meatballs (1-2 times a week is allowed to eat lean cooked pieces).

Prohibited products:

  • fatty mushroom and meat broths;
  • carbonated beverages;
  • smoked meat with spices;
  • unprocessed vegetables, pickles, pickles, savory vegetable snacks, lemon juice;
  • black bread.

The purpose of the diet is to exacerbate gastritis with high acidity to normalize intestinal and gastric function by limiting thermal, chemical and mechanical stimuli.

Low acid diet

The purpose of a diet with low acid gastritis is to stimulate (in moderation) the production of gastric juice, as well as mechanical stomach conservation.

Prohibited foods for hypoid gastritis:

  • control of pearl barley, legumes, millet;
  • fresh bread, baked goods ("heavy" food for the stomach, complicates chemical and mechanical processing);
  • fatty and salted fish;
  • vegetables and fruits with coarse fibers (white cabbage, turnips, radishes, cucumbers, Bulgarian pepper), mushrooms;
  • fatty meat, meat with fascia (films), canned food, smoked meat (insufficient mechanical processing of food, excessive release of hydrochloric acid);
  • spicy and salty cheeses, milk - neutralizes hydrochloric acid;
  • berries with grains or thick skin (raspberries, strawberries, red currants, gooseberries, figs);
  • spices and herbs (irritates the gastric mucosa), as well as chocolate, grape juice, alcohol;
  • Pork, beef, lamb and lard (not absorbed due to low hydrochloric acid production, difficult to digest products).

Food should be consumed after the onset of hydrochloric acid secretion, that is, in the first phase (advertising or programs about food, beautiful pictures of food, "delicious" conversations can cause the secretion of gastric juice).

Diet for gastritis in the acute stage

Particular attention should be paid to the gastritis diet in the acute stage. The requirements for products are the same as for all types of this pathology, but more stringent.

In the acute form of the disease is recommended:

  • low-fat cottage cheese;
  • yesterday's white bread and without muffins or pastries;
  • only lean meat, cooked and mashed or finely chopped;
  • soups only on vegetable broths;
  • acid-free compotes and jellies;
  • soft-boiled eggs or steam omelette;
  • vegetable purees from the range of baby food, it is also good to borrow babies fish and meat purees from jars;
  • tea or infusions without sugar.

During immediate escalation, they are completely excluded from the menu:

  • products with preservatives, flavor enhancers, artificial colors;
  • unprocessed vegetables and fruits;
  • milk and any dairy dishes;
  • confectionery of all kinds, except yesterday's bread;
  • margarine, frying oil and butter;
  • pearl barley;
  • all kinds of beans and beans.

All general restrictions on the products themselves and their preparation methods also apply. Usually the crisis passes within 3-4 days, after which the diet becomes more diverse, according to the general recommendations for patients with gastritis.
