My experience of sitting on diets is that I would hardly voluntarily resort to this means of self-torture. If not for one "but": I personally saw the results of two weeks of sitting on a "Japanese" diet. As in the magazine: "before" and "after". However, the principle of beauty and health matters perhaps best.

I have to say that I admire the courage of the people who can feel the weight loss recipe on the net and try it for themselves right away. I myself am wary of diets. Life brought me together with them twice.

For the first time - in severe form, when I caught some stomach infection in the mountains, and at an altitude of 3, 000 meters for three weeks, I just could not eat: everything asked to return immediately. The second time I decided to limit my diet to 1000 calories a day. For almost a month, my diet consisted of morning coffee with ice cream, which is handy for lunch, and frozen vegetables for dinner. I learned that the diet should be balanced much later.

So the first question I asked was: How balanced is the Japanese diet? "More or less, but amino acids are too little, " a friend of the biochemist replied, "you'll be annoying - horror with a gun. "His fears of my hypothetical exalted evil did not come true. For the first two days, the body was depressed by the sudden disappearance of normal food from his life. And realizing that this had happened for a long time, but not forever, he became quiet and indifferent.

Glamor and frustration

As it happens during each experiment with myself, I have amassed a list of charms and disappointments. Or rather, discomfort and diet.

1. inconvenience

The diet is strict. Because, according to the authors, it is designed to change the metabolism. Therefore, the smallest deviation from the course (even croutons, even apples) - and the expected effect is not guaranteed. And this is what is expected: divorce from 5 to 8 kilograms and weight stabilization in the future.

2. inconvenience

It is very difficult to come to a business lunch and a flirty ask me to please two hard boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. Such requests usually remain unfulfilled. So you will have to take all your wallets with you. And most likely, prepare diet meals the day before.

Pleasant number 1

A 13-day Japanese diet will cost you about 2 times less than a daily business lunch or lunch at work. And even more so - buying food for the home.

Pleasant number 2

It is usually better not to start a strict diet if you are uncomfortable with at least half of the foods it consists of. Since I ate with great enthusiasm for "normal life" and fish, as well as boiled beef, carrots, kefir and cabbage, it was a pleasure to see them on my table, frankly.

Many people ask questions about drinking coffee every morning - isn't it harmful? If you have heart problems or high blood pressure, coffee can have side effects. And before starting a Japanese diet, it is worth consulting your doctor.

Full range of feelings

For the first two days of the diet, I was haunted by a vision: as soon as I closed my eyes, a thin baked pancake appeared before my inner gaze, which spontaneously rolled into the tube. Then someone kindly dipped it in a strawberry jam and brought it in my face. There was no olfactory hallucination. After two days of persecution, the pancake was left behind.

There was a stony indifference and a calm attitude towards the culinary delights that have lasted to this day. This does not mean that I will harshly refuse if I am offered to try something tasty. But the nervous trembling of the fact that "there's so much food" is no longer observed.

I did not lose so much - only 4 kilograms, but the weight no longer regains. I don't know who to thank for that: the Japanese diet makers or myself for exercising twice a week. The only detail: during the diet you significantly weaken, and near the end, it becomes problematic to open an unopened bottle of mineral water. But then the strength is quickly restored.
